Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Technician came to my house and took the defective water softener for replacement under full warranty.
The new water softener was installed today. So far it is working perfectly.
Purchased Kinetico rebult system and installed on April 29, 2024 at my house. System leaks water from top of regeneration system.
Called San Antonio office several times. No one from Kinetico can come to my house until May 1, 2024.
Left 4 voicemails. No return calls from Kinetico.

My Kinetico rebuilt system was installed on Monday April 29, 2024. This morning my wife and I found water on the garage floor.
I traced the water from the Kinetico left tank. I called repeated to the San Antonio Kinetico office. All I am able to do is to leave a voicemail. I was told the earliest anyone can come to my house is on May 1, 2024.
I expected Kinetico to come to my house today and either fix the leak or replace the leaking system. My opinion is service at Kinetico is not a priority.
I should have never purchased your product. My email is charleslappan@***.com.

Cost of filter
We were told that we needed to replace the particle filter every 6 months. I have to replace the filter every month.
These filters are not inexpensive!!! I am unable to find a matching filter for this unit.

Henderson customer service charges over $190.00, for 1/2h inspection of Kinetico equipment and additional $50.00 for next 1/2h. This does not include fixing
Local plumbers can scheduel free estimate for inspection of they equipment.
This is a in my opinion more than layers charge per hour.

This is a very expensive water purification system and built to stay that way. Ive had nothing but trouble with it and Im tired of $130 service calls $316 filters and a system that doesnt really work well.

I purchased a dual system because of the high iron content in the well water in New Hampshire. Its never worked very well.
The head was replaced three years ago and now Im told there are no more parts. It cant be reset. Error messages flashing. The water is unusable.
We were told to get a new one. Its has been 7+ years, but the system was over $7,000. Its now just junk.
Inferior product and poor service. Dont waste your money!

So.. my wife had this Kinetico reverse osmosis drinking water system installed for about $2000.
It works good, but the replacement filters cost about $400 a year. After the fact, I find out that there are some very good systems on the market for 1/4 of the Kinetico cost that do just as good of a job. Well today, I find out that their proprietary filters are out of stock for at least 30 days.
When the filter needs changed the water shuts off. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from Kinetico products.D

Latest service nightmare
I am in Massachusetts and have found that my local Kinetico system is great when it works, but service is an issue. You do not have much of a choice in service either as most parts are unique to their system and as such, not too many options exist for service personnel/repairs.
I was just charged $857 for a repair that was supposed to be "under warranty! No return call from owner (Premier Water Systems), and once I stated checking their reviews I was shocked at the lost positive ranking (3.1 of 5.0).
Before making any choice of a softener system do your due-diligance and make sure the SERVICE end of it is up to par. If not, you are making a big investment in future problems and stress!

Missed appointment
We had an appointment today between 1-5pm. Nobody ever showed up, we called twice to confirm and were told that somebody definitely would be here.
It's now 6pm and our entire afternoon has been wasted sitting here waiting for our appointment and still nobody showed.
We are extremely disappointed that we were lied to twice by Kinetico when we called them. This is terrible service and completely unacceptable.

Not happy
We Payed this rip off company for there water system It is the biggest rip off ever , they been here no less then 3 times to work on it , And yet we have water driping in our basement becayse they use Garbage clamps ,, So sick of companys robbing people , and the water we feel is not any better now then before ,,
It absolutely refuses to work properly
System installed by Premier Water Systems of Massachusetts in 2012, it has never worked right from da one, then they charge you $250.00 plus to make service calls even if under warranty! Should have stayed with the electric system I originally had it always worked until hit by lightning!
(19 years it worked).
Another company stopped by at my request and told me it was installed wrong, should have had a cartridge pre-filter in line before the Kinetico, he feels the filter control head it plugged with sand from well. I refuse to pay any more money on the thing, by the way Premier Water Systems told me this system uses very little salt, they are right I am on the same 50 lb bag that came with it!

Hired plumber
Leesburg office had an add on Indeed for a plumber. I responded to the add and was interviewed by Tod and Jimmy neither of which were plumbers.
I knew the system was new to me so I told them, Tod said I would have three months to learn how to do installs. I road with Jimmy for 3 weeks I told Tod when he asked me I could do do installs. There systems are simple only thing is they are killing these guys for the commission the sales men get. The workers get peanuts.
Last time I made this kind of money I was 16 They fired me with know written or verbal warnings saying its just not working out. Truth is I am a plumber with many certifications.
They do not have a Plumber employed there at all. I would be very leary about hiring this office in Leesburg to install a softener in my home.
Check your water
I would ask all Kinetico users to take the softened water to a state certified water testing facility. Test for sodium, hardness, and TDS( total dissolved solids). The softness should be below 40gm/l, if it is above that, you are not getting soft water.

I posted on Dec. 31st, the tests done by a state certified testing facility.
it showed 350+mg/l, sodium 400mg/l, . Immediately Kinetico contacted me by e-mail and said my post was referred to their legal department. The term "soft water" is abused. Now, my animals are vomiting when drinking their water.
R/O water is fine. Kinetico does NOT supply soft water. When you buy a Kinetico system, have them write on the invoice that you are getting soft water, USGS 0-40mg/l of softness. Buy test strips HACH SOFTCHECK and test your own water.
the excess sodium is hazardous. 2300 mg a day is ok, more then that is not good. The site, consumer reports, is used by Kinetico to give you the impression that, somehow, consumer is saying Kinetico is ok.
Kinetico pays Consumers to use their name. Beware, test your water after the install.
